 At Coppergate we are always looking for ways to improve not only our guests experience but also the environment. That's why we installed solar panels to our luxury cattery and in our luxury kennels we invested in a heat recovery system which filters the air and reduces heat-loss.

  This enclosed, secure grass play-area is high on safety and fun! Featuring agility equipment and toys for our guests to enjoy! You can now make a booking for a 45 minute session for £5.00. Please give us a call before you set off as Paws for A Moment Play-area is open weather permitting and requires reservations.

The new Animal Welfare Licensing legislation, introduced in October 2018 in partnership with DEFRA, strives to improve welfare standards across the animal care industry.  At Coppergate we are always endeavouring to provide the best care and service possible for all of our furry and fluffy guests and we will continue to maintain the highest standards.

5 Stars.  I call this a doggy hotel as it is so much more than kennels. My dog's  both enjoy coming here, it makes me laugh as they are not bothered that I  am leaving them! Very friendly staff and that gives me great piece of  mind while I am away. I would never use anywhere else.- Marie D 

 5 Stars. We have used Coppergate for our cat's holidays for a number of years now and we wouldn't take our feline friend to any other cattery. The staff are fab, and the 'cat hotel rooms' are spacious. The staff take the trouble to ask what our cat likes to eat (and what he hates!). When you have a pet, it's important to know they're in safe hands if you have a holiday or need to work away from home. Coppergate always ticks the right boxes for us! -Faith Y

We have been taking our dogs to Coppergate Kennels for several years after being told about them by our daughter.  I feel very lucky to have been able leave my dogs in a kennels which has every comfort and security I could ask for.  The owners have made every effort to welcome them and I can tell they know each of my dogs very well.  When I leave them to go on holiday I am confident they are in the best care possible and don’t even look back. On one occasion my Labrador hurt her foot,  they took her to the vets and made sure she was ok - even phoning to check up on her after she was home. I would recommend these kennels to everybody and do so all the time as many people I know now use them too. -Summer C

 5 Stars. Our Jack Russell has been going to Coppergate for a number of years now and we wouldn’t take him anywhere else. The staff are great with him and he feels comfortable and at ease with them all. When we drop him off he happily goes in with them and is as happy when we collect him. Everywhere is clean and tidy and the grounds have great areas for walks and activities for exercise. -Donna H

5 Stars.We have been kenneling here for several years and would't leave my dogs with anyone else. My Jack Russell has severe separation anxiety Frank, Trish and Lyndsey look after her really well. We can go away with peace of mind knowing they will be well cared for. - Barry C

Our cat settles in very quickly and the care he receives is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and always try to help. The facilities couldn't be better, and they have invested in the very best care for our pets.

 5 Stars. Fantastic place! They looked after our elderly disabled cat (diabetic, hyperthyroidism,  3 legs and only 1 tooth!) while we went away and were so lovely with her. We had to really look around for somewhere that would be happy to inject insulin, but they've been wonderful and we'd definitely use them again. -Mike L 

 5 Stars. We have been bringing our two little dogs to Coppergate for a few years now and it is amazing . The staff are human and animal friendly and cannot do enough for either. We picked them up after their latest stay on Saturday and they did not know whether to come with us or stay there !! Our smallest dog is a Chihuahua and is frightened of everything and everybody but loves the staff here and they pick him and reassure him and us that he is happy to stay. We would not leave our dogs anywhere else but here now after trying and not being happy with other Kennels in the area.The Kennels are immaculate and the grounds very well kept. There is a lovely play area for dogs and on the way out we take them for a run and play before their journey home. I have recommended these Kennels to many people and they have been very pleased too. -Mrs W

 5 Stars. We have used Coppergate for some years now and can recommend them without hesitation. The “girls” have always returned home happy and well and are not at all bothered when we drop them off. All the staff are very friendly and obviously pay the dogs great attention. It is comforting to know that we can go away on our holiday and not have to worry if the “girls” are alright. -Ken S

5 Stars. We wouldn’t take our dog anywhere else !  The staff and facilities are first rate and you only have to look at the other positive reviews to realise how caring the owners are. We recently collected our dog after a 12 day stay at Coppergate and to be honest she would have been quite happy to have stayed longer !!  She has stayed a number of times and always greets the owners and staff with a happily wagging tail. - David C

5 Stars. My 11 year border Lakeland terrier loves to go to Coppergate kennels. The staff are brilliant very professional and loving to their guests. Would never take my Indi anywhere else. The kennels are extremely clean.
