At Coppergate the health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority. With this in mind we are now operating with new procedures to ensure everyone’s safety.
What can I expect?
When you make your booking:
- When you make your booking, depending on your arrival date, a 15% processing fee will be taken. This amount will be deducted from your final bill. In the event that you cancel your booking this charge will be non-refundable. Please note if you are making a booking within a week of your arrival dates you will be asked to pay the full boarding amount at the time of booking.
- To comply with social distancing you will now be given an appointment time to arrive with your pet. This is to limit the amount of customers that are at Coppergate at any one time and reduce any risk of close contact. Depending on the length of your pet’s stay you may also be given a departure appointment time when making your booking. Should you need more flexibility for your departure appointment time please speak with a member of our team on 01723 870440.
- If your pet has not stayed at Coppergate before you will be asked to complete a pet details form and sign a T&C's form before arrival. Both forms are available to download from our website, if you do not have access to the internet or a printer please let a member of our team know when you make your booking and we can post one out to you.
- A current mobile number and an emergency contact who will be contactable during the boarding period must be provided.
- Vaccination records must be provided at arrival and will be retained during the boarding period.
- At this time we are unfortunately unable to allow any viewings.
- Under normal circumstances we do allow customers to take their dogs out for the day and return them before closing, but to reduce the risk to our staff members we are sadly unable to accommodate this request at present.
When you arrive at Coppergate to drop off or collect your pet:
- In order to comply with social distancing only one customer is allowed in the reception at a time. If you would like to bring anyone with you we politely ask that they remain in your vehicle. Also in the event that when you arrive at Coppergate there is already a customer in reception we politely ask you wait in your vehicle until they have left.
- Our reception area is Covid safe, with a plexiglass divider to keep you and our team safe. Disinfection wipes and hand gel are provided in multiple locations for your use and convenience. We do ask that all customers use it.
- Where possible we ask that all customers wear appropriate face coverings when interacting with staff. Staff will also be wearing appropriate face coverings when in close contact with customers to ensure everyone's safety.
- Unfortunately to maintain social distancing and ensure safety no public access will be permitted into the kennels and cattery. We understand it is hard to leave your furry and fluffy friends but rest assured they will be given the utmost care and attention Coppergate has always been known for.
- During this time we will not be able to accept any pet’s own bedding, bowls or soft/non-washable toys. Plenty of soft, comfy bedding with be given to every guest and we have lots of fun chew proof toys to entertain them.
- If your pet is on their own diet you can still bring it for them. We do ask that you make sure that you provide extra just in case you are delayed.
- Should your pet require medication please make sure that you provide extra in the event you are delayed. All medication must be supplied in the original packaging from the vet who prescribed it.
- To ensure the health and safety of staff and customers we are unable to allow pets to be collected earlier than the agreed departure date. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience.
Rest assured that one thing that will never change here at Coppergate is the love, care and attention we give to each and every one of our furry and fluffy guests.
